Classroom Simulation

Balances, jobs, rent, store purchases, QR cards, and account numbers are pretend and do not represent real money or real banking.

Account Use

Students may only access their own accounts. Misuse, attempts to access other accounts, or attempts to manipulate balances are not allowed.

Teachers and admins manage accounts and may update, reset, archive, or anonymize classroom data according to their role and class access.

Owner-level super admins may access and manage all teacher accounts, student accounts, classes, balances, store orders, jobs, rent, goals, reports, and settings to support the classroom program, correct records, fulfill privacy requests, and keep the app operating safely.

Privacy And Data

Desk Dollars collects only the student, teacher, and admin data needed to operate the classroom economy. It uses privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics for aggregate app usage and reliability signals, not advertising, student behavior tracking, or selling analytics data. Desk Dollars does not sell, trade, rent, or share account data with anyone.

Archive/deactivate, anonymize, and hard delete are different actions. Student privacy deletion requests are normally fulfilled by anonymizing personal data, disabling student login, and preserving ledger-linked classroom history under a privacy-safe placeholder.

Paid Access And Manual Payment

Teacher access is currently approved manually. Submitting an access request does not create an account and does not guarantee access. Desk Dollars may email payment instructions, ask setup questions, or decline a request.

The access request form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam and abuse. Requests may be rejected or rate-limited when the bot check fails or submission volume is unusually high.

Payments may be handled outside the app through PayPal, Zelle, or another agreed manual method. A teacher account is created only after payment is confirmed. Initial account setup may use a one-time link so the teacher can choose a private password. Desk Dollars does not provide automatic billing, subscriptions, or automatic renewals at this time.

Refunds

Refunds are available within 30 days of teacher account activation. The 30-day window starts only after payment is confirmed and the teacher account is activated; it does not start when the access request is submitted or when payment instructions are emailed.

To request a refund, email [email protected] with the teacher account email and school name. Refund requests after the 30-day window may be declined.
